Education:
I graduated with a bachelor degree in Finance from Nanyang Business School, Singapore, in 1997, laying the groundwork for my journey in the financial sector.
Professional Journey:
My career began as a credit analyst at Dun & Bradstreet, where I delved into the world of creditworthiness of private companies. This led me to a three-year stint as an industry analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, providing supporting research on industry trends and ASEAN economies to bankers.
My analytical journey continued at Research-Works, a boutique macro research firm, where I served as a Strategy Analyst for two years, contributing to macro investment reports for global fund managers.
The next phase of my career saw me as a Financial Advisor and Investment Strategist at Frontier Wealth Management for six years. This role allowed me to combine my passion for finance with the goal of helping clients navigate their financial journeys.
Entrepreneurial Venture:
In 2009, I took a bold step in establishing In My Opinion, a consultancy aimed at guiding financial advisors in constructing and managing investment portfolios using unit trusts and investment-linked insurance products.
