The major indices, the S&amp;P 500, Nasdaq, and DJIA, are at or near record highs, confirming strong underlying momentum.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"866\">However, the market is also <strong data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"567\">overbought in the short term<\/strong>, and the possibility of a pullback or sideways consolidation in the coming weeks will not be surprising.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"866\">Over the next six months, the bias remains <strong data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"779\">upward<\/strong>, supported by improving breadth, robust risk appetite, and the prospect of easier monetary policy.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1858\" data-end=\"1895\">Market Breadth and Sector Rotation<\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"2299\">\n<li data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"2008\">\n<p data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"2008\"><strong data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"1930\">Participation is broadening.<\/strong> More than half of S&amp;P 500 stocks trade above both 50- and 200-day averages.
